Meet Francois Regimbald, Owner/Operator of Hands On Tile and Stone Ltd.

IKAG:  What do love most about what you do?

Francois:  The finished reward.  The “look what I made” moments.

IKAG:  What’s your favourite sound?

Francois:  My motorcycle pipes

IKAG:  How would your friends describe you?

Francois:  One of a kind

IKAG:  What is one of the biggest mistakes people make when undertaking a renovation?

Francois:  Not hiring a contractor.  Sometimes people think they know how to run a job, they know the steps and the sequencing but it makes everything harder for everyone.  In the end, it’s just frustrating and they don’t get the result they want.

IKAG:  What was your first job?

Francois:  A&W.  Cooking burgers.

IKAG:  If you were a fictional character, who would you be?

Francois:  Wreck It Ralph

IKAG:  What have you learned in running Hands On Stone & Tile?

Francois:  Not every job is not a good job, no matter how good the money is.  I’ve learned the hard way that I need to step back and look for the right work, with good people.   Taking the wrong jobs is stressful.

IKAG:  Name a gift you will never forget.

Francois:  My kids

Francois:  My mouth.   It still gets me in trouble with my wife daily, apparently I don’t have a filter.

IKAG:  One word to describe  I Know A Guy?

Francois:  Awesome!

Francois:  Hard.
