Renovating During a Pandemic. It is possible!
All of this extra time at home has, for many of us, highlighted the areas in our homes that don’t work for our family. But a renovation can be intimidating at the best of times! Add a pandemic to the mix and many families are unsure if they can move forward.
Fortunately, you can!
We’ve altered some of our planning steps to move online, but much of it already takes place virtually. When we do need to be in your home, we’re masked full time and have all the cleaning and sanitizing practices you’ve come to see from most businesses these days. Our aim is to keep your family safe and healthy, and this is a priority that everyone on our team takes seriously.
Those who know us know we LOVE our systems, so we were quick to build a comprehensive policy and system around the pandemic restrictions and recommendations. We’ve been able to improve these systems over the past months and many of these will remain as “best practices” after covid moves into the rear view.
One of our favourite first steps is dust protection. It’s always been our jam. Dust protection is an area we generally go overboard on, simply because we know how stressful a dusty renovation can be on a family. And that dust protection (think plastic walls, self closing doors and air filtration fans) is happy to support us in separating our team from your family, and reducing the transmission of…well, you know.
If you want to learn more about how it might feel to get a renovation started during this pandemic, gives us a call and we’ll go over everything in as much detail as you need to feel comfortable.
We’re grateful to be able to continue to work, a gift we do not take for granted, and we’re happy to do all we can to ensure families are comfortable. You might even have a little fun! And goodness knows we could all use a little more of that these days.
