We have a network of experts and advisors that have helped us create a powerful little renovations company.   We thought you’d like to meet them so we’ve asked our trusted colleagues a few questions; some silly, some serious.

Meet Kristin Verbeek, Co-Owner of Lathered Cleaning Co.

IKAG:  What do love most about what you do?

Kristin:  The finished product and how grateful most of our clients are every single time. We’ve made grown women cry 🙂

IKAG:  What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?

Kristin:  Common sense, common courtesy… stuff that really isn’t all the common anymore…

IKAG:  Why did you decide to start a cleaning company?

Kristin:  We wanted to help other women. We employ women, we clean for women, we volunteer cleans for women going through chemo and we volunteer for women with sick kids in the hospital. It feels amazing helping other women and with picking up so much more business we are able to do even more!

IKAG:  What was your first job?

Kristin:  I served ice cream at the Dairy Mart.

IKAG:  Favourite quote?

Kristin:   “Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves, for we shall never cease to be amused”

IKAG:  If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint?

Kristin:   My children, nieces and nephews playing in a field at the farm.

IKAG:  Why does Lathered use their own cleaners?

Kristin:  Because they work! And they are good for us, our clients and the environment. We clean up to three houses a day on average and I want to feel happy and healthy at the end of each week.

IKAG:  What was the first thing you bought with your own money?

Kristin:  A 5 disk cd player. It was big as a house and the bodyguard soundtrack to go in it.

IKAG:  How can people get the best possible quality clean?

Kristin:  Get ready for us. stuff off the floor, dishes out of the sink, etc. Let us get the things you don’t want to.

IKAG:  How would you describe your business?

Kristin:  Caring and honest

IKAG:  One word to describe I Know A Guy?

Kristin:  Honest
